Island Images - The Isle of Man in Pictures

An almost vertical view looking down on the Laxey Wheel, with a couple of people on the viewing platform at the top.  The circular motion of the wheel is converted into a linear form and transmitted to the pumps by a long drive shaft on the viaduct.
