Images
Hi - I'm Jon
and Island Images is a gallery of my digital photographs taken in the Isle
of Man since 2000 with some scans
of older pictures
taken from 1990 to 1999 and occasional contributions by others.
The main sections
of the website are for pictures taken around the island, with a new
gallery started each month.
Previous years
pictures are edited into Yearbooks and the pictures can be scanned through
sequentially or selected from thumbnail index pages.
Other sections
cover the various historic railway systems still operating here and aircraft
at Ronaldsway Airport and other island locations.The ATC pages are
an attempt at a potted history of Air Traffic Control at Ronaldsway Airport
and other
Isle of Man sites from 1937 until
the present day.
There are a lot of sections on the
site, some are only accessible through the Alphabetical
Site Index so I hope you enjoy looking through and find something
to interest you. The site is a constant work in progress as I add new pictures,
revise some sections and update others.
