This is the
site of the WW2 RAF Radio Track Beam, a British copy of the Luftwaffe bombing
beams used against the UK. I'm standing on the base of the transmitter
building and the long track leads to the aerial site. Judging by
the distance away from the buildings it was probably radiating a very powerful
signal!
