Probably the
best radar system Ronaldsway has been equipped with (out of around six).
The Plessey Watchman with Cossor SSR initially installed in 1995 (SSR 1998)
and operational within 2 months. Finally replaced in 2017 by the
rather poorly performing system on the hill behind which took 6 years to
become operational.
