Looking verticaly
down to the machinery are of the Great Laxey Mine. The water pumps powered
by the Lady Isabella on the left, with the Engine House that pre-dated
the big waterwheel towards the bottom. Just above them is the Machine
House which contained a water turbine used for winding puposes.
