Flying closer
to the western Britannia Bridge, which is double decked, carrying trains
on the lower level and cars on the upper. The bridge was originally
opened in 1850 as a tubular railway bridge, but after a fire in 1970 was
completely reconstructed into its present form, fully opening in 1980.
