An interesting
board in the church showing bequests to the poor of the parish from 1735
until 1971, including one from Bishop Wilson. The 1789 one from John Kewley
is interesting as it has an amount of £20, them 'Manks' £79
which equals British £67 14 shillings and 3 pence and a farthing!
