The Dunkirk
Memorial at Kallow Point, where eight of the Steam Packet's vessels were
involved with the evacuation of 340,000 troops from France in May 1940
under heavy enemy fire. Three Steam Packet vessels were lost there
within 24 hours, the 'Mona's Queen', 'King Orrey' and 'Fenella'.
