Some aerial pictures
taken yesterday afternoon in rather low light at Port Soderick where the
old wooden cafe/pub buildings have recently been demolished. Also
removed is the first section of the northern cliff walkway, marking the
end of the Port Soderick walkways. In its heyday there was both northern
and southern walkways, amusements and refreshments available and the chance
to travel from Douglas either by the steam railway or the Douglas Southern
Electric Tramway along the Marine Drive, where a funicular railway would
transport you down the cliff face to the beach.

Having not flown my
usual Phantom for over a month, I did a quick test and refresher flight
close to home on Wednesday afternoon.
It was a rather dull
and overcast day, but I took a few pictures! DJI Phantom 4

Quite a few more pictures
with a 'reasonable guess' as to what the radar station on The Broogh was
all about. Alternative explanations, facts or even better any photographs
would be welcome!
We'd not been to the
Wildlife Park for a while, so it was nice to have a visit yesterday afternoon!

Some aerial pictures
taken in Laxey towards the middle of the day yesterday. It was a
bit on the breezy side but the little Spark coped well.
