in 2016 I was approached by Sara Goodwins from Loaghtan Books to see if
I thought it would be possible to produce a selection
of
my aerial pictures in print format. After lots of discussions as
to format and checking the legal position of publishing photos taken with
a drone we decided that it could be done and after a lot more work 'Mann
with Altitude' emerged.
Sorry
about the terrible pun in the title,I'm afarid I have to admit to coming
up with it myself.
Here it is sitting propped
up on the computer that I use for compiling the Island Images website!
Mann with Altitude is
a 32 page book containing over 50 aerial images of the Isle of Man taken
using a drone mounted Camera.
Following the coastline
clockwise from the point of Ayre with occasional forays inland to view
points of interest, each page has one or more full colour photographs together
with a description of the scene and a small map to locate the area.
